Project Engineer

Responsibilities:
- To liaise and progress work associated with our UK and overseas military and key customers
- To progress Technical Queries and Drawing Alteration Requests within our organization and at our customer's premises
- To assist management in the preparation work associated with quotations and gaining new orders from our key customers
- To liaise with other departments throughout the company to ensure a "joined-up" approach to the work
- To assist the quality department in fulfilling their requirements to our military customers
- To assist the various departments within the company in any other project related work as required by management
Candidate Requirements:
- Full clean license and no outstanding criminal records as you will be subjected to a basic security vetting when you join the company
- Based at our offices in Northamptonshire, the job will entail frequent customer contact and occasional visits to Commercial and Military establishments.
- Most work will be computer based and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
- Some working knowledge of Microsoft Office Projects and a desktop publishing package would be very beneficial
- As we are an electronics company, a basic knowledge of the terminology surrounding this industry would be beneficial although not essential as training will be given
- A working knowledge of mechcanical terminology would also be useful as some of our work is electro-mechincal in nature
- Good communication skills with the ability to build internal and external relationships with key customers
- To succeed in this role you will need an organized approach to your work and patience as many of the projects spread over a number of years.
- Preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate at least 2 successful years in a similar role within industry. Note, however, that full product training will be given if you have gained your experience within a different industry sector.

Sales and Marketing Engineer
Responsibilities:
- To market the company to our target markets and key customers
- Marketing to include e-mail shots, PR and exhibitions
- To follow up the responses to aforementioned marketing
- To contact directly our customer base and if required set-up visits for relevent personnel
- To assist management in the preparation work associated with quotations and gaining new orders from our key customers
- To liaise with other departments throughout the company to ensure a "joined-up" approach to the work.
- To assist the quality department in fulfilling their requirements to our customers.
- To assist the various departments within the company in any other sales and marketing related work as required by management
