BU191 - Single Level
Function:
The BU191 is a universally powered Alarm Unit suitable for use
with a number of different VA Flowmeters. It can be configured
for use as a Low or a High Flow Alarm, as required. Each
different VA Flowmeter will require a different sensor head for
mechanical reasons but in all cases the operation of the Alarm
Unit is the same. The sensor heads supplied come with 5M of
cable for connection to the Alarm Unit. The BU191 has an
"Instrument Fault" indication LED (Amber) which is
triggered following loss of power or loss of connection to the
Head. This LED can only be cleared by restoring power or
replacing the head, passing the float from the Alarm State to
the Healthy State and pressing the RESET button to initiate the
"Stable" condition. The BU191 incorporates a
sensitivity adjustment to cater for different VA Flowmeters.

BM191

The BM191 is a Flowmeter Alarm Unit module suitable for use
with a number of different VA Flowmeters. These modules can be
panel mounted or used with the Lee-Dickens Multi-way
enclosures (please see separated data sheet). For enclosed
stand alone units please refer to the BU191. The BM191 can be
configured for use as a Low or a High Flow Alarm, as required.
Each different VA Flowmeter will require a different sensor
head for mechanical reasons but in all cases the operation of
the Alarm Unit is the same. The sensor heads supplied come
with 5M of cable for connection to the Alarm Unit. The BM191

BM191E - Multi-way Enclosure FM4AC,
FM9AC, FM4DC and FM9DC
Function: There are 4 types available, 4 way AC
Powered (FM4AC),9 way AC Powered (FM9AC), 4 way DC Powered
(FM4DC) and 9 way DC Powered (FM9DC) all of which are suitable
for the BM191 Alarm Modules. Each type will have one set of
power supply terminals. Terminations for each respective sensor
head and alarm relay are made direct to the associated module.
Cable entry is available on the top and bottom of the enclosure.
The enclosure offers protection to IP65. The hinged enclosure
door is transparent, to enable the status lights to be seen. The
Reset Pushbuttons are mounted on the enclosure door.
