It is critical for airport safety that the status of all key equipment is monitored. This not-only includes the local services such as Airfield Ground Lighting, Navaids and Metrology equipment, but also the more remote services such as DVOR, Surveillance and Communication. In busy control rooms, there can be too many screens and not enough space, leading to operator confusion and inefficiency.

The Sitewatch Remote Control and Monitoring System (RCMS) is trusted in International and Military Airports around the world, integrating the monitoring of all key services. Our Simple and Intuitive interface allows all equipment from any OEM to be monitored and controlled from just one workstation. Sitewatch typically interfaces directly to the equipment using SNMP, but other protocols are supported. Alternatively, Sitewatch RTUs, such as our Midi-10R,  can be used to monitor dry contact signals presented by the various monitored equipment. Sitewatch can integrate CCTV images from the airfield leading to further efficiency and safety gains.

The system can be expanded further to include our Crash Alarm system, allowing runway and aerodrome safety to managed. The two international airports in Dubai use Sitewatch to monitor all their CNS, ATM and MET equipment. With our Maintenance Management System integration, any faults detected by the RCMS can automatically create Job Cards, providing sensible fault tracking and automatically recording KPI for the whole airfield.
