Lee-Dickens is passionate about innovating solutions for industry. We are a Systems and Manufacturing company with employees working in all manner of clerical, sales, technical and commercial fields.

Electronics Test Technician

Full/Part Time: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £26K to £28K

Hours: 40 hours per week - flexible

Responsibilities:

  • Assembling and setting up analogue and digital test equipment.
  • Measuring results using precision instruments, whilst recording and interpreting results
  • Fault finding on analogue and digital circuits to component level, where appropriate
  • Input information into specialist software
  • You may also be required to undertake repair work, design test rigs and equipment for specific tests, and, provide technical sales support to customers

Requirements:

  Suitable Skills & Experience:

  • Good understanding of electronic circuits
  • Good understanding of DVMs, Current Sources, Capacitance Boxes, Resistance Boxes and Oscilloscopes
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Due to the nature of our work, every potentially successful candidate will be subject to a basic security check prior to being offered employment

Production Operative

Full/Part Time: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £23,810 to £24,500

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - flexible

Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and soldering of components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs)
  • Wiring of electronic assemblies
  • Component recognition and forming.
  • Use of some machines for engraving and drilling of enclosures
  • Adherence to the company's quality system

 

Requirements:

Suitable Skills & Experience:

  • Some understanding or experience of manual jobs using tools - full training given for soldering, wiring and assembly
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Due to the nature of our work, every potentially successful candidate will be subject to a basic security check prior to being offered employment

A competitive salary, commensurate with experience, will be paid to the correct candidate, who will be practically minded, friendly, punctual and reliable.

Full/Part Time: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £27K to £29K

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - flexible

Responsibilities:

  • All procurement activities for the company including:
    • Electronic Components
    • Mechanical items to print
    • Sensors and other items required for bespoke work
    • Company Consumables - Printer Paper, Coffee, etc.
  • Adherence to the company's quality system

Requirements:

Suitable Skills & Experience:

  • Understanding of procurement activities - full training given for product identification and existing supply chain interaction
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Due to the nature of our work, every potentially successful candidate will be subject to a basic security check prior to being offered employment
